Welcome to The Saltby Estate. The small village of Saltby lies in the heart of Leicestershire, midway between the market towns of Grantham and Melton Mowbray. The Estate is owned today by a family with a long history of landownership in the United Kingdom which stretches back to 1575. |

The Estate surrounds the village of Saltby and is home to a diverse estate, it is also home of the Saltby Pedigree Dairy herd, producing 3 million litres of milk per annum. It is rare to find a dairy herd of this size and pedigree still in existence in the Midlands. |

| Following a decision by the family, on the 7th May 2010, the Saltby Herd will be sold, and an opportunity will exist for the dairy farmer of the future to rent the Saltby Dairy complex. | |||||
